“The Classic” grass-fed cheese burger w/ bacon & grilled onions
Every few months I crave a delicious, juicy burger, and I’m definitely NOT purchasing it through a drive thru window. I came across Burger Lounge in Las Vegas many years ago, prior to eating gluten-free, and am a happy repeat customer. Their gluten-free buns are an added bonus. I appreciate their “uncomplicated, tastefully-sourced approach” in keeping their burgers taste so good!

Tender Greens Backyard Marinated Steak Plate w/ mashed potatoes & a baby spinach salad
Tender Greens was born via one great idea from “two chefs and a foodie”. Now, it’s a restaurant whose goal is to change the way people eat for the better. Their menu is vast with something for every appetite, filled with tasty gluten-free options. You’d think I would try something other than this Backyard Marinated Steak Plate, then, right?!? ;o)

My sweet tooth directed my drive through Carlsbad last week, and (luckily!) I stumbled upon SusieCakes at La Costa Town Square. I never know where gluten-free treats will pop up, and this cute, little shop provided a few options for a taste-test.
