To enjoy the fullest p u m p k i n flavor, it’s all about the gluten-free f l o u r. Moist cake at it’s finest, topped with creamy frosting, rich with taste. I first tried this gluten-free pumpkin sheet cake ‘n cream cheese frosting recipe in Kansas at moms (love that she participates in my ‘New Recipe Sunday‘), and it’s been a treat to share with my California friends. Easy to make, delicious to eat.

Creating fun plates of food is one way to allure finicky eaters to the table. This twist on meatloaf uses rice in place of bread crumbs, and some fantastic soup (hey, it’s bisque and adds that hint of creamy yumness!) as it’s topping sauce. A huge fan of “porcupine balls” since I was a kid, now substituting a few ingredients of my own, I’ve developed a monthly favorite gluten-free style. Voila, my Primo Porcupines!

Meatloaf. Brings back childhood memories of quick, after school meals, served with rich mashed potatoes and corn. Yum! And oy, such the ‘heavy’ meal!
Reinvent your meatloaf recipe by adding different, fresh ingredients to it, bake it in smaller pans, cut it up into different shapes and sizes, and keep the dinner plate a suitable size. There are a motley amount of choices to turn up the taste, and dial down the calories.

I was in a cheesy mood, and stared at the alfredo sauce mix and Linguine noodles in my cabinet too long, way too long.
I love chicken, and always seem to have some handy in my fridge to use in another ‘New Recipe Sunday’ meal idea. This experiment was exceptional, and I plan to make it again. And again. Just sayin’, it was pretty great.

Waaaaay back in the day, I remember mom in the kitchen whipping up a cherry cream cheese pie for one event or another. It always was a hit, and either went fast at the dessert social or was eaten quickly by friends and family at the house. I always wondered what made it so appealing, since as a kid it didn’t look interesting enough to give a fair try. I am SO glad I grew up… ;o).

The sweet smell of this recipe entices guests into the kitchen… now you can put them to work, too! ;o). Beef with snow peas is a standard Chinese dish, and like many Chinese dishes, usually only needs a swap of gluten-free Tamari sauce to replace the usual soy sauce (containing wheat), and us gluten-intolerant blessed people can enjoy to the fullest!

I’d been jonesin’ for some mac ‘n cheese for a VERY long time. When I paired it up with my pork loin and sautéed apples meal, my stomach was smiling and my guests were pleasantly giving me the happy nod across the table. Oh yes, a meal that tastes as good warm as it does cold, any time of year, and pretty simple to make.
