Delicious Sprinkles Cupcakes offers tasty, gluten-free options!

Sprinkles Cupcakes opened their first delicious bakery in Beverly Hills, CA 10 years ago, and as part of their anniversary celebration, TODAY ONLY they are giving each store visitor a free cupcake!  Good news for those of us eating gluten-free, their signature red velvet cupcake (25 million red velvets sold to date!) also comes in a gluten-free version.  It’s delicious!

Sprinkles Cupcakes are topped with their “trademark modern dots, rich chocolate sprinkles from France or seasonal sugar decorations”, and a bright red letter “G” on their gluten-free varieties.  The “G‘s” are usually kept in a separate section so make sure to ask if you don’t see them in the display window.

At The Grove Los Angeles location yesterday, I was excited to find a Sprinkles Flourless Chocolate Cupcake – yep, gluten-free.  It was so moist and delicious, and tasted similar to a fudge brownie.  A little dollop of vanilla bean frosting added the perfect compliment.  These flourless chocolate cupcakes are only around for a limited time, however maybe if enough people compliment them on their new addition they’ll add them to their full menu!
